Rooting Tooting Baby isn’t about cowboy boots or western themes – it’s about a moment.

The name came from a silly little song I made up while changing my baby’s diaper.
“He’s rooting, he’s tooting, he’s rooting-tooting baby…”

It was completely ridiculous – and it made my baby laugh for the very first time.

That tiny, joy-filled moment turned into something bigger.

I’m a mom of two boys, ten years apart, and somehow I get to experience babyhood all over again – this time with a little more patience, a lot more appreciation, and the same deep love. Between diaper changes, bedtime routines, and creative messes, Rooting Tooting Baby was born as a place to celebrate the sweet, funny, sometimes chaotic parts of raising little humans.

I’m also an art teacher at heart (and by profession), a lifelong animal lover, and someone who truly believes that small moments of happiness matter. Creativity has always been my way of connecting – whether that’s through teaching, designing, or sharing ideas that make life feel a little more joyful and a little less overwhelming.
